PerkyPod Wows Judges at Finder Innovation Awards 2024! (Guest Blog)
PerkyPod has been named a finalist at this year’s Finder Innovation Awards!
Billed as the world's first self-draining planter, the PerkyPod is essentially a foolproof watering system that takes the hassle out of keeping your plants healthy and well fed.

PerkyPod will now compete for the ultimate title of Best Retail Product Innovation in Australia.
For the past 9 years, the Finder Innovation Awards has celebrated excellence and ingenuity across multiple industries.
For the 2024 awards, Finder’s team of experts judged approximately 140 entrants in a bid to find the nation’s most innovative brands.
Best Retail Product Category — PerkyPod Plant Pot
In the Best Retail Product category, PerkyPod scored highly with judges across all metrics, securing its place in the finals.
Judges were particularly impressed by the PerkyPod’s built-in filtration and drainage system which prevents overwatering and root rot by diverting excess water into a removable drawer.
“I love how the collected water can be easily reused on other plants, spill free, to minimise waste,” one judge commented.
The inclusion of optional castor wheels to assist with moving and cleaning was also noted by the judges.
The PerkyPod’s use of recycled composites further cements its environmental credentials (above and beyond responsible water usage.)
We wish PerkyPod luck in the finals.
